Web developer

We’re looking for an enthusiastic web developer to join our team in a permanent, full time role.

If you’re passionate about creating high quality, accessible, standards compliant web applications and interfaces, enjoy producing elegant, efficient code, and would relish working in a creative, friendly environment in a small but growing agency, we’d be delighted to hear from you.

Responsibilities and duties

• Website and application development (client & server side)
• CMS Integration, development and theming
• Liaising closely with creative team to ensure the best possible solutions for our clients
• Liaising with clients to gather and support their requirements

Experience

• Development of high quality, robust, accessible, standards compliant web sites and applications

Essential skills

• Self-starter with very strong problem solving and decision making skills
• Fantastic attention to detail
• Development of accessible, standards compliant web interfaces using XHTML, CSS & JavaScript frameworks
• Proven PHP and database driven application development skills
• Excellent communications skills
• Ability to meet deadlines whilst working at a consistently high standard

• Drupal theming and module development
• PHP and JavaScript Frameworks

• Web application testing
• Requirements capture / analysis
